I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management at HKUST Business School, and a Faculty Associate of the HKUST Li & Fung Supply Chain Institute. My research centers on the operations of digital platforms — how consumers learn from online reviews and social signals, how firms use sequential experimentation and information design to guide decisions, and how AI is reshaping the way we think about business. As an interdisciplinary researcher, I connect and extend tools from machine learning, operations research, and statistics to tackle these questions. I received my Ph.D. in Decision, Risk, and Operations and my M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University, and my B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from KAIST.
